Dixie Mine Trail

This was always one of our favorite hikes both for the scenery and the close proximity to our house. The right of way to the county park entrance has been blocked for several years now until the town was able to negotiate a right of way with the developer; always bad when you have private groups controlling access to public areas. However, we now have a new parking area and access to the trail and we still enjoyed it just like the "old" days
